About me

Academic interests

My academic interests include (but are not limited to) probability theory, statistics and machine learning in the context of life insurance and biostatistics as well as mathematical finance and risk management.

Other interests

I love reading, especially science fiction (Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov and Frank Herbert are among my favorites) and fantasy (Narnia and The Lord of The Rings especially). I am also learning German.

As for interests not involving reading, I like Danish folk dance and I like to run, at least three times per week. I also like to swim in the summer. Teaching and writing mathematics are also hobbies.

In regards to music, I like many different genres. I listen to classical, rock, metal (especially power metal), synth, jazz and soul regularly.
